Some of the finest unspoiled beaches in the world can be found around the village of Durness, just a short journey from the hotel.

Miles of beautiful clean sandy beachs nestle, sheltered, between outcrops of harsh unyeilding rocks, much feared by the ship masters of old, none more so than Cape Wrath itself. Hotel guests may visit this, the most westerly point of the British mainland, by taking a short Ferry trip, then travelling to Cape Wrath Lighthouse by minibus. The Ferry leaves from the pier, 300 yards from the hotel, approximately every 90 minutes throughout the season.
